All-in-one navigation app savvy navvy has been crowned ‘Marine Business of the Year’ at the British Marine Trades Association Awards ceremony this week.
Unser Gründer und CEO, Jelte Liebrand, nahm den prestigeträchtigen Branchenpreis am Montag (12. Juni) im Grand in Southampton vor Hunderten von führenden Branchenvertretern des britischen Freizeitschifffahrtsverbandes British Marine entgegen.
“Being selected from more than 350 entries and to get the recognition of the industry as a whole is amazing. It’s been a big year for us surpassing 1,000,000 downloads and getting industry recognition the same week as the next generation savvy navvy is rolling out is incredible,” says Jelte.
The British Marine Trades Association Chairman Paul Martin described savvy navvy as a ‘popular and growing business’, which has received ‘glowing nominations from industry peers’ stating that the ‘fun, innovative and trustworthy company’ have ‘developed a successful Google Maps for sailors’.
The annual British Marine Trades Association award dinner recognises and celebrates successes in the UK leisure marine industry and is held by British Marine, the trade association for the UK leisure, superyacht and small commercial marine industry.
